ABOUT
Summer IFT School (SIFTS) is a new intensive two-week summer program typically intended for graduate student considering a career in theoretical physics. The SIFTS program is designed to provide lectures and informal sessions on the latest advances and open questions in various areas of theoretical physics. This year the SiftS school is dedicated to “Recent developments on Holography and String Theory”(poster)

The School is open by invitation only to approximately 60 participants.

Accepted participants are expected to pay a registration fee of 100 Euros (to cover Lunches, Coffee Breaks, Receptions, Conference dinner).
Accommodation will be available for accepted students on campus, at Residencia de Estudiantes Erasmo, walking distance from IFT ( 480 Euros - 12 nights, single studio, includes breakfast).

ABOUT THIS VENUE:
The IFT is located on the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid main campus in Cantoblanco, and is easily accessible by train and bus from downtown Madrid (see transportation details).
